Graduated at the University of the Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland, Luigi is one of our operative director, as well, founder and sole shareholder of Whitecross Holding Ltd. (the entity holding all group’s operating companies).

After almost 22 years active as private banker, he created Goldberg Holding Ltd. (a Swiss based Independent Asset Management firm). From 2018 he is involved in Whitecross Holding Ltd. as main business developer and Group CEO.

Mr. Noel Vella, a Chartered Accountant (FCA), brings extensive expertise in operational, financial, and compliance realms on his role as an independent director at Whitecross Investments. With a proven track record in establishing and managing both regulated and unregulated organizations, including long-only funds, hedge funds, NAIFs, UCITS, and private equity ventures, Mr. Vella offers comprehensive regulatory and tax structuring knowledge spanning the UK and Malta. His experience encompasses a wide range of asset classes and LLP structure accounting/management. Mr. Vella holds various regulatory statuses, having been approved by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for key functions such as Partner, Compliance, and MLRO, along with registrations with the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) for roles including Director, Compliance/MLRO, Investment Committee, Portfolio Manager, and Valuation Officer, holding a Class B CSP authorization. Additionally, he is approved by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) to serve as a Board member.

Mr. George Tsaousis has over a decade of comprehensive experience in capital markets, garnered expertise in both fundamental and technical analysis.

His professional journey has encompassed pivotal roles within esteemed financial institutions in Greece and Malta, as Trader, Stockbroker and Investment Advisor.

Possessing a coveted certification/license as an Investment Advisor (B1 & B) accredited by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC), along with recognition as a Portfolio Manager, Investment Advisor and IC voting Member by the MFSA for Whitecross Investments Ltd., underscores his commitment to regulatory compliance and excellence in financial advisory services. Complementing his practical experience, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Information Technology from the University of Macedonia, Greece earned in 2013 and a Master’s Degree in Banking, Finance, and Financial Technology (FinTech) at the University of Hellenic Open University in Greece.

Mr. George Tsaousis has served as the Head of Operations & Investment Management at Whitecross Investments and working with the firm since January 2020. In this role, he directs the Investment Advisory & Portfolio Management Process, aligning strategies with client objectives and market trends.

He also oversees operational affairs at the Malta office, ensuring efficient workflow and regulatory compliance. Mr. Tsaousis ensures strict adherence to the Company standards and regulatory requirements, implementing policies and procedures to maintain integrity and compliance.

Mrs. Elena Micallef Pak is an Administrative Operations Officer with a diverse background in legal assistance, hospitality management, and customer service. Originally from Russia and now based in Malta, she has built a versatile skill set, excelling in business operations, client relations, and regulatory compliance. Her career across various sectors has honed her ability to adapt, manage complex tasks, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

Mrs. Micallef Pak holds a Law degree from the Kaliningrad Border Institute of the Federal Security Service, known for her proactive and detail-oriented approach, fluent in Russian and English, and experienced as a Legal Assistant, where she successfully drafted legal documents, coordinated contracts, supported negotiations and more.

In her current role as an Administrative Operations Officer, Mrs. Elena Micallef Pak ensures operational efficiency, provides critical support to management, and handles client inquiries and meetings. Mrs. Elena Micallef Pak is also responsible for new business applications and liaising with financial institutions and partners, all while contributing to the company’s growth and daily operations.

Ms. Francesca Gauci graduated with an Honours Degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Malta in 2020. Francesca furthered her education within the Risk Management field by successfully passing the Financial Risk Manager FRM Exam Part I. Moreover, she is currently a candidate for the Financial Risk Manager FRM Exam Part II.

Ms. Francesca Gauci started her career working in the clients’ relationship department at a major investment company. She then moved to a leading asset management firm, which provides investment management services and distribution for both UCITS and AIF funds, whereby she held a position within the Risk Management Department for three years.

She currently holds the position of a PQ’d Risk Manager where she assists in the identification, evaluation, mitigation, monitoring and reporting of all material risks across all areas, both from a quantitative and qualitative risk management perspective.

Dr. Keith Farrugia, B.A.; LL.D. is a Doctor of Laws and holder of a warrant to practice as a lawyer in Malta.

He has worked with top-tier legal, corporate, commercial and financial services firms in Malta as Legal Counsel and In-House Lawyer, Head of Legal and Corporate; Trust Manager and also served as Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer for several Investment Services Companies, Trust Vehicles, Funds and Investment Services Licensed companies.

He is recognized with the Malta Financial Services Authority and acts as Compliance Officer and MLRO.

Elena is Swiss national currently based in Dubai having  Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Economics a Graduate’s diploma in Banking and Finance.

With a strong background in banking and finance, she served as client relationship manager and later as team head at BancaStato in Lugano, Switzerland, for 11 years. Her experience expanded into family office services as desk manager at Goldberg & Partners SA in Lugano, and now she is the responsible for the family office services for Whitecross Middle East DMCC in Dubai.

Gianluca holds a degree in Economics & Management and has obtained an MSc in Financial Communication, developing a 360° background in finance, management, and financial communication.

He began his professional career at Credit Suisse’s Asset Management division in the Milan offices. As of 2022, he serves as portfolio manager at Goldberg Capital Partners AG, a FINMA-licensed Swiss asset management firm, a role he continues to actively pursue.

Starting in 2024, he is part of the Whitecross group as Group Business Manager, reporting directly to the Group CEO for all strategic development activities.

Sabina achieved her Federal Diploma of Commercial Clerk in 1984.
She has gained deep and well-founded experience in the banking sector working for more than 30 years at Banca dello Stato del Cantone Ticino in Lugano in the Individual Customer branch as an executive assistant and, more recently, he was administrative assistant at Goldberg & Partners S.A. (a private and independent asset manager).

She is the front runner of our office in Lugano providing punctual daily bank execution checks and reconciliating our customers portfolios.

Alessandro holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management and a Master’s degree in Banking & Finance, with a focus on derivatives, statistical analysis, and investment strategies. He began his professional career at Banca Mediolanum and subsequently continued at CNP Assurance. He later spent three years as a Portfolio Controller and Analyst at a family office with offices in Lugano and Luxembourg, where he developed solid expertise in the management and analysis of complex portfolios.

Alessandro serves as Group Business Officer, with overall responsibility for all cross-functional strategic processes across the Group, as well as for the implementation of the related automation program through the IT platform adopted by Whitecross Group.
